The Job Market Relocates to 2420 Sixth St. in Eureka

The Humboldt County Administrative Office’s Economic Development Division’s workforce development program, The Job Market, has relocated to 2420 Sixth St. in Eureka.

Public services at the new location will be available starting this week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., however The Job Market will be closed to the public on Friday, Dec. 6 to finalize the relocation process.

Starting Monday, Dec. 9, The Job Market will be open to the public at its new location Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. While the office will be closed to the public on Fridays, lobby computers will remain available for public use.

The Job Market provides valuable resources to job seekers and businesses, including job counseling services that help program participants develop skills to find employment. For more information on services The Job Market provides, visit gohumco.com/TheJobMarket or call 707-445-7745.

The Job Market will now operate alongside the Humboldt County Child Support Services office in Eureka, aligning with the county’s goal to consolidate facilities serving clients with similar needs. Child Support Services will continue serving the public Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Fridays, the Child Support Services office will be closed to the public except for prescheduled appointments. However, the Child Support kiosk in the lobby will remain available on Fridays for payments.
