  • You can participate through attending meetings on the first Thursday of every month and getting involved in activities sponsored by the Human Rights Commission. Meetings are held at 825 Fifth Street, Room 1A, 1st Floor, Eureka, CA 95501. Meeting time: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. NOTE: Agendas are posted on the bulletin board on the 5th Street side of the County Court House 72 hours prior to the meeting.

  • Individuals wishing to become commissioners are encouraged to attend a few meetings and ask questions. Get to know what the Commission is doing and how you may contribute. To become a Human Rights Commissioner complete an application and mail to the address below (a link to an application can be found under the "Members" section).
