Humboldt County Voters: Get Ready for the November 4, 2025 Statewide Special Election

The Humboldt County Office of Elections encourages Humboldt County voters to get prepared for the upcoming November 4, 2025 Statewide Special Election.

Humboldt County voters will have the option to cast their ballots by mail, via drop box or in person.

Vote-By-Mail

Ballots will begin to be mailed to all active, registered voters on Monday, Oct. 6. Completed ballots may be returned via the United States Postal Service. Voters also have the option to take their completed vote-by-mail ballots to be deposited at any of Humboldt County’s ballot drop box locations.

Vote In Person

Vote centers will be available throughout Humboldt County for voters who prefer to cast their ballots in person. Humboldt County voters are welcome to visit any vote center to cast their ballots.

Specific locations and hours of operation for ballot drop boxes and vote centers will be announced in the coming weeks and included in the Voter Information Guide mailed to all registered voters. A list of locations and hours of operation will also be posted on the county’s website.

The Humboldt County Office of Elections encourages all eligible residents to verify their voter registration status and update their information as needed prior to the election by visiting registertovote.ca.gov. If you plan to register to vote online, the last day to register to vote for the November 4, 2025, Statewide Special Election is Monday, Oct. 20.
