The County of Humboldt is excited to announce that The Grind Café is now open on the third floor of the Humboldt County Courthouse, located at 825 Fifth St. in Eureka.

Operating Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., The Grind Café offers courthouse visitors and staff a variety of dining options, including coffee, pastries, grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, soups, and limited dine-in meals. The menu includes options for children, as well as vegan and gluten-free choices.

To celebrate its official grand opening, the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at The Grind Café on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 4:30 p.m. The community is invited to attend the event and help welcome the café to the courthouse. 

“We are excited to be part of the Humboldt County Courthouse and to serve both the courthouse community and the public,” said Gabrielle Long, owner of The Grind Café, Tasty Hub and A Taste of Bim. “We look forward to providing a welcoming space with delicious food and beverages that cater to a variety of tastes and preferences. We’re thrilled to be here and can’t wait to become a part of the daily routine for many in the area.”
