Community residents are invited to learn more about the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Annual Update for 2022-2023 at a virtual meeting Friday, Nov. 19, from noon to 1 p.m.
In 2004, California voters approved Proposition 63, or MHSA, which placed a 1 percent tax on personal incomes in excess of $1 million. This revenue is used to develop and support local mental health programs for children, youth, adults and older adults.

Friday's meeting will be the first of several planned for December and January that will focus on the Annual Update. More information about those meetings will be available soon.
